Yen is a dedicated math educator with over three years of teaching experience in middle and high schools across the United States. She is certified to teach mathematics in Idaho, Illinois, and Ontario. Guided by the belief that every student can succeed with the right support, Yen emphasizes clarity, encouragement, and independence in her teaching. She focuses on helping students build confidence, understand mathematical concepts deeply, and take ownership of their learning.

Her classes are designed to make math approachable and meaningful, connecting theory with real-world relevance. Outside the classroom, Yen enjoys ice skating and bouldering—activities that mirror the perseverance and growth mindset she works to instill in her students every day.
