Introduction

Teacher Colton is a classically trained Biochemist with a master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from IU School of Medicine, the largest medical school in the U.S. He has teaching experience at the college level in the United States and at the middle and high school levels in Taiwan. His expertise is primarily in the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Mammalian Physiology and Cancer Biology. In addition to teaching experience, he has also worked for the pharmaceutical industry in the United States and brings a comprehensive view to his teaching. He likes to make sure students are equipped to handle any level of testing, but also challenges students to make connections to science outside of the classroom as well. He believes that application of science concepts both in and outside of the classroom are key to becoming an excellent scientist, and an excellent science education to will help foster excellent future leaders in the science and technology industry.
