AEI High School Homeschool Program
To help students successfully complete their high school education while meeting all academic requirements, AEI offers a comprehensive study program. Students are required to take at least 20 courses during their high school years, averaging five courses per year, with each full-year course worth one academic credit.
GPA Calculation
GPA is calculated starting in Grade 10. Students who take Honors or Advanced Placement (AP) courses receive additional weighting, boosting their academic standing and college readiness.
Sample Course Plan
English Language Arts (Required – 4 years, NCAA approved)
Course Sequence: English 9 → English 10 → AP English Language & Composition → AP English Literature & Composition
Elective Flexibility: Students may choose to take AP English Language & Composition in Grade 12 or opt for English 11 in Grade 11.
Focus: Expanding vocabulary and refining grammar to build a solid foundation for academic writing and university-level studies.
Elective Arrangement:
Students may take AP English Language and Composition in Grade 12,or take English Language 11 in Grade 11.。
The course focuses on vocabulary expansion and advanced grammar refinement, laying a solid foundation foracademic reading and writing at the college level.
