Middle School Homeschool Program

AEI’s Middle School Homeschool Program is designed to provide students with a solid academic foundation while fostering the skills and discipline needed for success in high school. Each academic year typically includes 5 to 6 core subjects, with flexible adjustments based on individual student needs.

Grade 6: Students take English, Earth Science, Mathematics, Geography, Spanish/English as an Additional Language (EAL), and may choose an elective literature course.
Grade 7: Students continue with English or Literature, Spanish/EAL, U.S. History, Pre-Algebra, and Life Science.
Grade 8: Students advance to Algebra I, Physical Science, and World History, preparing for the rigor of high school courses.

Through an introductory study of U.S. and World History, students build the knowledge base needed for advanced high school history courses. Additionally, depending on their academic progress, some students may begin Geometry in Grade 8, strengthening their mathematical skills and accelerating their preparation for high school-level coursework.
