The SAT test is a test sponsored by the College Board. It is second only to TOEFL in popularity. The test target of the TOEFL series is students' English ability; SAT, ACT, and GRE/GMAT mainly test students' logical analysis ability.

2023 College Board launches new system Digital SAT,In 2024, paper-based exams will be completely abandoned and replaced by digital, online computer-based exams.

➤ Digital SAT test content
The SAT test is divided into two items: Mathematics and Reading and Writing. These scores are used to assess a student's English proficiency, reading ability, mathematical reasoning ability, and writing ability. At the same time, it is also a reference for predicting students' college performance and the level of graduates from each school. Each item can earn up to 800 points, for a total SAT score of 1,600.

The SAT exams are held in Taiwan in March, May, August, October, and December respectively. Information on the exams for the second half of the year (August, October, and December) is announced around late June each year. The registration deadline is around Deadline one and a half months ago.

Although there is no clear limit on the number of times the SAT can be taken, it is recommended that students take no more than three times. Taking the test again before you are fully prepared not only saves unnecessary time, but is also more beneficial for future school applications.

Registration fees for the Digital SAT exam are divided between international and U.S. testing sites.

The registration fee is US$60, but there is an additional regional fee of US$43 for international testing sites, and an additional US$24 testing room fee in some locations.
