. Common Core

K12 American state core curriculum, which is the syllabus for American primary and secondary schools.

A complete and rich academic English course can give children a learning map of the culture and heritage of "English", and establish children's native language and English skills, so that they can take their studies to the next level using their mother tongue!

Core goals:Vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing - comprehensive unit academic courses to help children build a solid academic foundation step by step!


. Short Story Reading/Writing

This course selects literary works and a variety of short stories to cultivate children's comprehension skills. Through the learning of additional knowledge, they can develop a feel for the content of the articles, thereby cultivating their reading interests and habits.
A piece of writing is not just a simple expression of words, and writing exercises are not only training in word choice and sentence making skills, but also training in one's broad thinking, and at the same time strengthening the accumulation of single words.

Core goals:Improve students' reading comprehension and writing expression skills, enhance their vocabulary, and stimulate their interest in reading and writing.


. Math preview

  1. Review of basic concepts: Strengthen the mathematical foundation of the previous semester, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions and decimal operations, to help students consolidate their existing knowledge.

  2. Preview of new concepts: Introduce the mathematical content to be learned in advance, such as geometric figures, proportions and simple algebra, so that students can become familiar with and adapt to the new curriculum.

  3. Problem-solving skills: Cultivate students' logical thinking and problem-solving abilities through mathematical problem exercises.

  4. Interaction and game learning: Through games and interactive activities, students can learn mathematics in a relaxed and interesting atmosphere and enhance their interest in learning.

. PSAT Jr./1/2

The PSAT series of courses are preparatory tests for the SAT, covering vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing—comprehensive unit academic courses to help children build a solid academic foundation step by step!
AEI's teaching team exclusively compiles teaching materials, focusing on academic vocabulary, grammar, critical reading and academic writing training, and regular quizzes to review students' learning status.

Core goals:Students develop a solid language foundation that allows them to remain competitive internationally.


. Shakespeare Literary Analysis and Writing

  1. Reading and Analysis of Shakespeare's Works: Students will read and analyze Shakespeare's classic plays, such as Hamlet or Romeo and Juliet, understanding characters, plot, themes, and literary devices.

  2. Literary Review Writing: Students will learn how to write a literary review, clearly expressing their analysis and opinions about a work, and using evidence to support arguments.

  3. Understanding of language and style: The course will help students understand Shakespeare's unique language style and rhetorical techniques, and explore the poetic and dramatic expressions in his works.

  4. Character and Emotion Exploration: Through in-depth analysis of a character's actions and motivations, students will learn how to explore themes of humanity, emotion, and morality through writing.

Core goals:Students not only improve their literary analysis skills but also strengthen their critical thinking and presentation skills in academic writing.


. Math Preview

  1. Key Math Concept Preview: Introduces upcoming math topics such as algebra, geometry, equation solving, and data analysis, allowing students to become familiar with new knowledge and master important concepts in advance.

  2. Reinforce basic skills: Review and consolidate the basic math skills students learned in the previous semester to ensure a solid understanding of basic calculations and concepts.

  3. Problem Solving and Application: Through problem-solving exercises and practical applications, we help students improve their logical reasoning and mathematical problem-solving abilities, and apply the knowledge they have learned to real-life situations.

  4. Interactive learning and assessment: The course features interactive exercises and quizzes, allowing students to test their learning progress through hands-on operations and real-time feedback.

. Digital SAT

An intensive two-week training course focused on preparing students for the upcoming Digital SAT exam.

  1. Familiarity with the digital testing environment: Students will learn how to deal with the new digital testing platform, understand various tools and functions, and become familiar with the operating procedures to ensure that they can handle the actual test smoothly.

  2. Exam content enhancement:

    • Reading and Writing Part: Focus on improving students' reading comprehension and article analysis skills, and practice quickly locating key information and solving problems efficiently.
    • Mathematics Section: Strengthen the application of key mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, and data analysis, and improve problem-solving speed and accuracy.
  3. Exam skills and strategies: The course will teach time management and test-taking skills to help students allocate time effectively during exams and cope with questions of different difficulties.

  4. Mock test and feedback: A total of two mock tests allow students to practice in a real exam environment and provide instant feedback based on test results to help students improve their weaknesses.

. SAT Jr.

The SAT Jr. curriculum covers extensive literature reading, grammar.
Learn different types of articles every week, including important historical events, biographies of great people, new scientific knowledge, celebrity speeches, movie appreciation, etc., to improve students' reading skills, expand academic vocabulary, teach reading strategies such as speed reading and grabbing key points, and improve test-taking abilities .
New Digital SAT simulation questions - AEI teaching team leads students to practice continuously during the course to strengthen their knowledge points and prepare for the SAT exam in advance.

Core goals:Master the Digital SAT in a short time, analyze typical test questions, and teach unique winning strategies!


. Advanced Writing

Each unit grasps the power of words through vivid descriptions, rhetorical devices, and emotional appeals to establish a profound connection with readers. Whether you are telling a story, presenting an argument, or conveying a message, you can create maximum impact with clear structure and organization.
Develop an authentic, confident writing style and style that will impress your readers.
Use precise vocabulary and easy-to-understand sentence structures to present complex ideas clearly.

Core goals:Improve your overall writing skills through exercises on a variety of topics and insights into writing skills! 


. G9/G10 Math Preview

  1. Extensions of Algebra and Geometry: Ninth grade typically deepens understanding of algebra and geometry, so courses focus on advanced applications of these topics, such as quadratic equations, systems of linear equations, the Pythagorean theorem, and trigonometric ratios, allowing students to Master higher-level concepts ahead of time.

  2. Functions and graphics: Functions are an important part of ninth-grade mathematics. The course will cover the drawing and analysis of linear functions, quadratic functions and their graphics, helping students to visually understand the changes and patterns in mathematics.

  3. Problem Solving and Application: Train students how to apply the mathematical concepts they have learned to daily life or other subjects, and improve their mathematical application abilities.

  4. Consolidating the foundation and practicing in advance: In addition to introducing new concepts, the course will also strengthen students' basic mathematical skills to ensure that they can fluently use algebraic rules and geometric principles, laying a solid foundation for more challenging learning in the future.

  5. Tests and Assessments: Weekly quizzes and assignments allow students to instantly test their understanding, consolidate weaknesses in time, and ensure they are fully prepared before formal classes begin.

    • Comprehensive coverage of core AP Calculus AB/BC topics, including limits, derivatives, integrals, differential equations, and infinite series (BC).
    • Help students consolidate their understanding of these concepts and provide in-depth explanations of various problem-solving methods.
  2. Analysis and techniques of key question types:

    • Analyze high-frequency question types in previous exams, focusing on how to effectively solve multiple-choice questions and free-response questions.
    • Teach time management and test-taking skills to help students improve problem-solving speed and accuracy.
  3. Mock exams and assessments:

    • Arrange mock tests to familiarize students with the AP exam format and simulate real exam situations.

  4. Advanced content analysis (for BC students):

    • BC students will study more advanced topics such as infinite series, parametric equations, and polar coordinates.
