Introduction

A dedicated and enthusiastic teacher, Sequoia is honored to aid AEI students in the pursuit of academic excellence. Sequoia first got his start as a substitute teacher in the USA, gaining experience in a variety of subjects from history to mathematics. Later, while working in Korea, he specialized in TOEFL prep, literature, and debate, while also working in administrative roles and developing curricula. Sequoia has many years of experience teaching advanced writing as well as specializing in exam prep for AP English and History subjects. His flexibility and broad experience can be tailored to the learning needs of any student. As a teacher, Sequoia strives to instill in his students a love for learning. For Sequoia, teaching is about more than merely grasping the material; it’s also about making a real connection to the students and providing them with skills that are foundational to academic success. Sequoia hopes to share his passion and experience with anyone who desires to succeed.
