Introduction

A veteran teacher, Teacher Ritchie has been teaching students and adults for more than 18 years. Through studying several languages, Ritchie has gained a deep understanding of the nuances of being bilingual or multilingual, and how it affects students’ learning patterns, enabling him to be an effective, efficient, and eloquent teacher. Ritchie has also been teaching test preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT since 2006. 

While pursuing his degree at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), Ritchie’s main area of study was world history and geopolitics. His extensive knowledge in the humanities, such as English, economics, and history, as well as his methodology, result in engaging lessons that help his students achieve their objectives. In his spare time, he translates PhD dissertations from Mandarin into English and is well-versed in many other subjects at an advanced level.
