Introduction
Lydia completed the IB Diploma in high school and attended the University of Kansas in the United States, where she majored in Math and graduated with honors in the study of Economics and Languages. She is passionate about history, current events, and international economics. She has over half a decade of teaching experience including AP and IB subjects, and her teaching philosophy emphasizes critical thinking as the basis for improving standardized test scores. In her free time, Lydia enjoys reading Russian literature and studying Mandarin. Before committing herself to teaching, Lydia worked as a data analyst for political science and successfully co-authored a research project about military capabilities and burden-sharing within alliances.
